[jump to gallery] Welcome to my eighth shoot with the delightful and talented Estella Rose. This time we did what we like to call a “costume rummage”. My wife dug out a huge pile of costumes, swimwear and corsetry stuff she knew to be Estella-Rose’s size. She hung it all out on a rack, whilst spreading smaller items across a large table. We also placed lots of full length mirrors around the studio. Estella Rose then selected a series of outfits that she thought might suit her, and we shot them.
I’d just survived an extremely hectic week with my ‘day-job’. So this was a particularly pleasant and relaxing way to unwind from the worries of the week. Estella Rose was as creative and charming as ever and we got a lot of images ‘in the can’. In fact this time I had two cameras on the go. One camera (DMC-GX80) for normal studio-type shots and a second (DMC-GX7) set up purely to capture some ‘candids’.
She particularly took to the role of “female Bond villain”. I don’t know if this is her alter-ego bubbling to the surface, but she played the role remarkably well. 🙂 She really is such good fun to work with. And as ever, our four hour shoot whizzed past in what seemed more like fifteen minutes. On the bright side she is the first model to appear with our new “Kadence” best site theme.
