I just enjoyed a lovely sunny spring afternoon in my garden, shooting one of my favourite ever models, Estella-Rose. She was dressed in her stylish vintage one piece swimsuit, and performed various dance, pilates and yoga poses, accompanied by a selection of suitable props.
We set these against a backdrop of the fresh green leaves on the trees and bushes, and the clear blue sky above. We followed this by a few snaps in the setting sun, as I drove her home across Portsdown Hill, with the backdrop of Portsmouth, Southsea, the Solent and the Isle of Wight stretching some 20 km into the distance.
Insofar as ideas go, the split was circa 50/50. But her energy and joy as she danced across the grass felt like I was like photographing the very essence of spring itself.
As ever, lovely person, lovely model, and very highly recommended.
