What camera do you use, and why?

We have used a variety of cameras over the years. Starting initially on film with several Pentax ME Supers. We went digital quite early – in 1998, starting with Olympus C1400L and C2500L, moving on to a series of Fuji DSLRs: an S1 pro, an S2 Pro and then an S3 pro. Then we went on to using very tough and rugged Pentax K10D and K20D DSLRs. Then in 2015 we went mirrorless.

We are currently using Lumix MILCs (mirrorless interchangeable lens cameras). Mostly a DMC-GX7 and a DMC-GX80. Micro Four Thirds is s very interesting format. The cameras tend to be very light weight. Because of a relatively short flange distance, and the fact that µ4/3 is an open format, means that it works well with  a large variety of vintage manual focus lenses too. The Panasonic image app allows easy tethering of the camera, thus enabling us to develop new ways of shooting our models.

It is our intention to go through the files at some point and list the camera against each shoot.
