Mave D second shoot

My second day-long shoot with the lovely Mave D. We spent most of the day finishing off ideas left over from our last shoot together – extending the theme of “modern girl does vintage”. One of which was replicating a vintage foundation-wear ad. This is something for which she has the perfect slim, shapely petite figure.

Mave D brought a suitcase full of outfits which she blended very skilfully with ours. She has a distinctive style of her own. The idea is to blend that with a very different style and see what transpires as a result.

Same as last time, she was accompanied by her partner Niall and we captured some tome out to get some rather nice snaps of them together. This added a fun, humorous yet genuinely romantic element to the shoot, which gave the day an especially pleasant vibe.

I’d say she also seemed rather more relaxed in front of the camera than last time. In fact the shoot had an altogether gentler mood this time. Of course this tends to happen on second shoots because the team all know each other better.

All-in-all this was a very enjoyable and productive shoot and I look forward to working with Mave D and Niall again in the future.
