The manufacturer’s marketing department must have really racked their brains to come up with the name “Tummy-Ins” to describe a girdle.
But we have the lovely Chiara - a model who is a also a big corsetry fan. She has been consciously pulling in her tummy since she was seventeen. So this bizarre and slightly surreal packaging was just begging for a Chiara photo-shoot.

Working with Chiara tends to inspire me with strange or surreal ideas. This shoot was based on a 1961 magazine advert for Maidenform girdles.
Basically it involved taking two images of the model, one in a girdle and another shot of her wearing the same girdle under her dress. The two images were stitched together in GIMP.

Back in 2007 Sarah did a couple of splendid shoots with us. But then things went quiet. Turns out that she has given birth to two happy, healthy babies and is embarking upon a fitness programme to get back into shape.

Readers may recall that Sarah ended her second shoot doing a deportment workout with Chiara. It went really rather well, so we decided to get them together again for this shoot too.

This is a brief shoot where Chiara models a very stylish Half Moon retro one-piece swimsuit, kindly provided by eBay seller Bella Swimwear USA. Unfortunately, due to bad weather and other pressures, we haven’t been able to shoot outside.
On the bright side, we managed to capture some very nice snaps of her trying on a tight black British-made pantie-girdle.
