Kristina is a lovely person to work with excellent communications, punctual, well-prepared, friendly, versatile, patient and very, very talented. She also took to the retro thing pretty quickly too.

This is my first shoot with the lovely Miss Cristal Marie. It was a last-minute shoot organised because I was let down by another model at short notice. Shoot plan had to be hurriedly rewritten and outfits selected. But it all worked out beautifully.

Today I was fortunate enough to work with a lovely model called River. With beautiful big blue eyes and the maturity, reliability and common-sense that comes with age, she also possesses a figure that would be the envy of many lasses in their late teens or early 20′s. She is indeed a very talented lady – patient, hard-working, punctual, considerate. and 100% professional.

She also has the a chameleon-like ability to change her looks so completely that it was as if I had four different models, not just one! We tried a massive variety of outfits. We took advantage of her tiny figure to use a lot of our smallest sized outfits. And the weather was sufficiently kind to allow us to do a few snaps outdoors too.

We had the pleasure of working with Cheekycat. Apart from being very attractive, having a fabulous suntanned figure, beautiful blue eyes and her trademark cheeky smile, she is also punctual, hard-working, a good communicator and takes great pride in her work.

She is also a gifted make-up artist and I very much hope to work with her again soon – developing new ideas that will utilise her skills both as a model and as a make-up artist.

We would like to introduce you to the fabulous Miss Vixxen. Her preferred genre is alternative, and her favourite is colour black. In fact, we called this shoot “In Colour” because Miss Vixen is usually only seen wearing black.

However, she is also a first class pin-up model too and has a very good understanding of the genre. As a pin-up, she has a more-than-passing resemblance to the late, great Bettie Page and modern pin-up and fashion designer, Bernie Dexter. She certainly added a delightful sense of fun and spontaneity to the shoot, which came across in the pictures we took.

Had the pleasure of working with Hell Kitty today. Though she was a tad nervous to start, she soon relaxed into the shoot. She is a very creative and hard working girl and likes trying new ideas. She is also very patient, friendly and a generally nice person to work with.

Had the pleasure of my first shoot with Anise. Despite a 400km round trip, she arrived on-time, well prepared and ready to shoot.

Apart from being tall, slim and absolutely stunning, she is also an intelligent, articulate and highly motivated person, determined to get the best possible images from a shoot.

She possesses the perfect blend of professionalism and humour. She works well under direction. She also bought a lot of ideas of her own. In fact, our 6-hour shoot seemed to whiz by in no time at all.

MT Mcqueen is a lovely model and a very pleasant person to work with. She has a very bubbly personality and a fabulous figure.

Unfortunately her/driver chaperone had difficulty finding the studio, so we started rather later than planned. And we had to finish early because her chaperone needed to get away earlier than expected. So we were unable to complete all the sets detailed in the shoot-plan. This meant sadly that we ran out of time to try the costumes that I think would have suited her the best.

Nevertheless, she worked very hard and we got some really good material “in the can”, which we have been rather slower than normal getting the images up on the site. I really hope we can work together again in the near future and perhaps finish off “the plan”, as it were.

My second shoot with Kristina, Aka KVV. Kristina is an amazing model, attractive patient, witty and keen to try new ideas. The main aim of this shoot was to replicate a series of 1950's magazine ads for Playtex girdles.

Unfortunately, the Playtex was based on natural rubber latex and very few survive. However we found a similar looking Silhouette Little X and used that instead. The Little X is made of heavy nylon lycra and offers just a much figure control as the Playtex. So we were able to achieve the look we were after. The orginal used a studio that was probably over 10 metres wide. We had a paper roll that was just 2.72 metres. So that gave Kristina lots of challenges to work with. But she managed to do it. She also went on to produce some other fabulous imagery too.

After quite a long gap we finally got Chiara down for another shoot. And very productive it was too. Firstly we did another “Bonnie Cashin Maidenform Girdle” style. Then she did another of her excellent girdle reviews. This time it was a particularly slinky-looking black nylon/Lycra Miraclesuit strapless bodyshaper girdle.

I had the pleasure of working with Sarah for the first time 2013-11-16. Describing herself as a dancer who does a bit of modelling, Sarah is actually one of the best models we have ever worked with. She is stunningly beautiful with a great complexion and a fabulous figure. Even better for our style of work, she has no tattoos at all. This makes creating an authentic retro look much, much easier.

Better still, Sarah is a very talented dancer and can place herself elegantly in front of the camera with great precision – whilst making it all look natural and easy. She is a good communicator, highly intelligent and does her very best to make a photographic idea work. Despite being a 280km round trip, she arrived on time and ready to start work. Her pre-shoot communications were excellent. Shame she lives so far from my studio but I really hope we can work together again soon.
